Villa no.157
“Luxury is in the details” – de Givenchy
While the ground floor retains its Cape Dutch heritage - with old thick stone walls, deep window reveals, soft light and shutters, the magic is in the beautiful details of the minimalist brass handles, the modern armoires in cross-grained Oak, and bathrooms with antiqued mirror walls. The top floor transitions into a contemporary living area with a kitchen with a private pool area, and views across the city. The Kitchen is the epitome of ‘glam, with slick lines and handblown glass pendants.
Villa no.53
A beautiful floating stairwell anchors this modern 3 story apartment.
Internally the walls ‘peel’ away, as a series of timber and glass doors can open or close as privacy is needed.
The warmth of timber wraps itself around the entrance walls and ceiling in a play of smooth and textured surfaces.
