We provide a design service for clients, from big vision design direction, to design development, detail design and implementation. As each client and project are unique, each design package is structured according to a customers’ needs and brief, and can be a single service or a combination of services.
In order to design, build and decorate spaces of high quality, Salt and Light design partners and collaborates with architects, suppliers and service providers who are best suited to the project — those who share the same values of integrity, excellence, well crafted detail and value for money.
DESIGN DIRECTION — ARCHITECTURAL
I believe that the success to any project is to have a clear and holistic vision of the unique design direction for that particular client and project.
Most clients cannot envision how to marry the architecture, interior and different aspects of what they desire physically, spatially and emotionally ( feeling of what they want ) and interpret this into a design or space. As an architect with a love for interiors, I have the unique ability to weave all the pieces of their lifestyle and story together to find visual harmony and cohesion.
INTERIOR ARCHITECTURE
Following a clear holistic vision, this is design style is integrated into all the interior architectural elements.
We appraise the space planning to determine room proportions and furniture layouts, choosing the correct palette of finishes and fixtures for each space, and create the design concepts for kitchens, bathrooms and joinery. We position feature lighting and key electrical points, but lighting layouts may be designed in conjunction with a lighting specialist.

Even though I am a qualified architect, I do not focus on the structural aspects of a project, nor drafting plans for council submissions. Depending on the project requirements, we would work in collaboration with an architect or draftsperson whose design style we believe best suits your project.
INTERIOR DECORATION
Salt and Light also provides an interior decoration service, from spatial planning to designing bespoke furniture and hand selecting quality products from a network of suppliers and skilled craftsman — including fine finishes, fittings, furniture, art and accessories.
Refurbishment of existing homes and reuse of furniture will be assessed according to the overall design direction.
CONSULTING SERVICES
Consulting services include advising clients who are buying or selling properties, by assessing the feasibility of the property according to their needs,
as well as how to maximize selling potential through small improvements. For small scale interior projects, we may consult to the client on the direction they should follow such as :
